As of now my race is in 97 days, 14 hrs, 42 mins I will be running a 5km race and all the proceeds go to "Soldier On" program and military families...I dont care what spot I come in I just simply want to run it w/o stopping to walk, currently I am training 3 times a week on the treadmill and as soon as the weather gets better I will be running outside as well....once I get closer to race day I will adding more running and cross training....I just realized that I ordered my shirt in a 1 XL or XL and I might be swimming in it...that's ok then I can see how far I've come...After completing my race I should be ready to get back to Basic training and finish what I started in 2008...the only difference this time is that I will finish Basic in 13 weeks and be on Grad Parade with my original Platoon I start with.
My Journey began many years ago when I decided that the real Pina needs to shine.

My new Obsession
So being addicted to food and using as comfort is my down fault....I am sure every other overweight person can agree with me....I learned alot with my yo-yo dieting....It's NOT A DIET it is however a lifestyle change...you also need to workout to lose weight and lose slowly so it can stay off your body...I have read many articles now researching what the best exercise is to lose weight....everything leads to running and cross training...so with me now doing exactly that I shouldn't have a problem losing the weight...who knew losing weight would require math skills and journaling??? the most effective way is to be accountable to yourself, you have to write every lick, taste and bite down and hold yourself accountable when you mess up...I found chewing gum while preparing and cooking food is the best way to go....I have been in contact with Helen Phillips Season 7 BL Winner....she is a true inspiration and she keeps me grounded....she struggled after coming home from the ranch and felt guilty when she wasn't exercising 24/7...all you need to do is the math to burn 1 lb of fat you need to burn 3500 calories. If you consume 1500 calories you only burned 2000 calories, now I am not saying you have to go and workout every second of the day this is just the math...my new obsession is atleast a healthy one : <3 I LOVE TO RUN <3
