Well I went to the recruiting center today to find out when my medical and my update interview would be scheduled for.....I found out today that none of my trades I picked are open at the moment and that I might have to wait until the new fiscal year (April) before the waiting game starts all over again.Are you kidding me!!!!!!What did I do to deserve this????All I want is to be a soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces and serve my country.It makes me so angry that someone like me who would be a GREAT soldier is still waiting and some idiots that DO NOT deserve to be in are serving now.FML!!!!
My recruiter and I started talking and she looked at my score from the apptitute test and says to me :"Why dont you go Officer",who me??? My reply was that I do not have a Bachelor degree and dont qualify...Men was I wrong....She offered me what they call ROTP, basically I go to University to get my Bachelor and the military pays for it all including a small salary for me to survive.In the summer time I will be doing my courses for BMOQ and so on....So I had to really think about it....Am I really officer material? My friends seem to think so....So I am announcing here that my decision is to go back to school for 3 years and then become an Officer....The more time I have the better physical condition I will be in....So maybe this is a sign of God???Maybe I am ment to be a leader...
On another note I signed up the whole family for a 5 km race in August for Spina Bifita.I can't wait,be so much fun.I am still planning on running and entering races while I attend school and eventually I will do a full Triatholon and a Full marathon.My life is changing and I am going to embrace every minute.
